July Fun Events On The Palouse 2011

Endicott: July 4, 2011, Endicott Community Days are held each July 4th and features the popular ice cream social, adult softball game and fireworks.

Tekoa Swimming Pool was scheduled to open Saturday, June 18, 2011, according to the Tekoa Newsletter, http://tinyurl.com/62u6ol5.
Hours: Monday-Friday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Adult lap swim Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
$2.00 per person, $65.00 for a family pass. Swimming lessons begin July 11-22 and August 1-12.

Sign up now ($15 per child with family pass.)

Swimming Pool Opens in Palouse, WA June 23, 2011

Swim Lessons
Must be a minimum of age 4 by the first day of class.  Payment required one week in advance of class start.  $25.00 per child/per session.  Register and pay at City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, 878-1811.

Each session is two weeks, Monday*-Thursday.  Classes are 30 minutes each, between the hours of 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. 

Session 1:          July 5th – July 14th      (*first week of Session 1 will be Tu – Fri)
Session 2:          July 18th – July 28th
Session 3:          August 1st – August 11th

Swim Team
Swim team practice will begin Friday, June 27th at noon.  Normal practice schedule will be Monday-Friday from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.  Register at pool.  Meets are on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Private Pool Rentals
1.5 hours.  Lifeguards provided.  $50 + tax for up to 25 guests.  $80 + tax for 26-40 guests.  Guests include everyone within the facility.  Reserve and pay at City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, 878-1811

Pool Closures
  • Air temperature under 62 degrees
  • Dangerous weather conditions
  • Pool contamination – closures for contamination are cleanup time + one hour.

The Palouse Pool is supported by a Maintenance and Operations Levy.  Guests from outside of city limits are encouraged to make a donation to help offset expenses.
