1950's and 60's Jazz by Mary Michaelson and Lou Lippman.


On June 27, 2012 at 6 p.m., the Tekoa Branch Whitman County Library welcomes professional musicians Mary Michaelson and Lou Lippman. This program includes songs focusing on light jazz and the songs of the 50's and 60's and music that appeals to a younger audience. The library foundation and Friends of WCL through a Humanities Washington Opportunity Grant sponsor these high quality programs.

Spy Mysteries Special Teen Program at Colton



A special program for teenagers is planned for June 28, 2012, at 4 p.m.


Join Teen Librarian Chelsea to explore the world of spies and solve mysteries.  Teens assume a spy identity and complete three missions.  Attendees earn an extra entry into the weekly Teen Summer Reading prize drawings. Create a Dinner Casserole - Featuring Jeff Emehiser


Fairfield Branch Library has scheduled "Fun with Friends: Create a Dinner Casserole," June 21, 2012, 4:30 p.m.

"Join presenter Jeff Emehiser as he demonstrates how to mix common ingredients from your cupboard into a creamy, crunchy casserole that your whole family will love. He’ll also discuss cooking dry beans and whole grains to lower the cost and boost the nutrition of your dinners, as well as food handling safety. Don’t forget about tasting a casserole! Recipes included."

Kid's Music Star - Eric Herman - at Fairfield, Wash., June 21, 2012

"Kid's music star Eric Herman brings his high energy show to Spokane. Eric's show will have kids dancing from limb to limb, smiling from ear to ear, and laughing from nose to foot!" says Spokane County Library District.
