Flag Flown in Memory of Walt Roach at Garfield, Wash., Library

The Garfield branch of Whitman County Library is proud to fly a new flag in memory of Garfield’s Walt Roach.

Whitman County Commissioner Greg Partch along with Walt’s widow, Dixie Roach recently presented the flag, which was flown over the Washington State Capitol in Olympia in Walt Roach’s honor.

The Garfield Library is open each Monday from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Kindergarten and preschool storytime is each Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
