"A Bucket of Dirt Clods," by Sue Ellis, was recently reprinted by Front Porch Review. Ellis' story was first published January 13, 2011 in Poor Mojo's Almanac(k) as Rant #521. Ellis' story is an insightful bit of history of life on the rolling Palouse farmland of southeastern Washington.
Ellis delivered mail to 180 households on a 92-mile rural route at Rockford, Wash., during 1980-1989. On January, 2010, Christian Science Monitor published Ellis', "Memories of a Rural Mail Carrier."
