North Fork Palouse River Cleanup and Celebration, August 27, 2011

Palouse Conservation District and the City of Palouse will conduct a stream cleanup and do site maintenance at the Palouse Native Plant Walk with the help of volunteers Saturday, August 27, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Volunteers will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the City Park (Hayton Greene.) Wear appropriate clothing including sturdy shoes, layers, and work gloves.

A celebration BBQ and sign unveiling for the Palouse Native Plant Walk will be held at 1:00 p.m. along the North Fork Palouse River at the Palouse Native Plant Walk.

This cleanup is part of American Rivers’ National River Cleanup™. Thousands of volunteers across the country are protecting their community’s most precious natural resource.
