Starting Wednesday, February 6, 2013, Garfield Library has new hours. Monday remains the same, opening at 12:30 and closing at 6:30 pm. Wednesday hours moved from 1:30 to 5 p.m. to better fit the needs of the community.
Garfield Library Adult Banner Craft is
February 11th starting at 6:30. This free craft project will
celebrate the coming of spring and summer. Who needs winter? Fight back the
cold with cheerful, flowery, or cool designs. All supplies will be provided.
After school Science at Garfield
Library is on February 13th from 1 to 2:30. Learn about the many
unique properties of eggs. Can you walk on eggs? How can you tell if an egg is
boiled or raw? You can make an Egg bounce? How high? Come learn the answers to
these questions with fun, hands on activities for all ages.
