Easter Themes and "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" Featured at Colton and Uniontown Branch Libraries

Now that spring is right around the corner, it is time to get out of the house and take a trip to your local library.  The Third Thursday program will be March 21 and is the Colton Library after-school program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. There will be an Easter-theme craft, as well as worksheets and a snack.

The Storytime theme for March is shapes at the Colton Library, 760 Broadway Ave., Colton, Wash. Kids will learn about a new shape each week with a craft, color pages, songs and stories.  Storytime is held on Mondays at 10:30 a.m., and ages 1-6 are welcome.

The Uniontown/Colton Book Club is currently reading the book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer.  Discussion of the book will be held at the Uniontown Library, 110 S. Montgomery, Uniontown, Wash, on March 27 at 6 p.m.  Stop to pick up your copy of the book at either library today.
