Summer Reading is
underway for all ages at the Colton Library.
For children, Summer Reading is on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. from June 10, 2013 through
July 15, 2013. The theme is "Dig Into
Reading!"
Programs will have an emphasis on underground animals and activities and will include a craft, a snack, and stories.
Highlights of the series include an earthworm program put on by Judi Gray of Pullman Recycling Center, a geology program put on by the Palouse Discovery Science Center, and mining songs for children sung by Hank Cramer.
Children who read ten books or ten hours during the six-week program will receive a goody bag at the picnic during the last program.
