Children's Summer Reading Gets Underway June 10, 2013 at Colton Branch Library

Summer Reading is underway for all ages at the Colton Library.  For children, Summer Reading is on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. from June 10, 2013 through July 15, 2013. The theme is "Dig Into Reading!"

Programs will have an emphasis on underground animals and activities and will include a craft, a snack, and stories.

Highlights of the series include an earthworm program put on by Judi Gray of Pullman Recycling Center, a geology program put on by the Palouse Discovery Science Center, and mining songs for children sung by Hank Cramer.

Children who read ten books or ten hours during the six-week program will receive a goody bag at the picnic during the last program.
