Exhibit and several free activities on the theme of
"Fish On!" are scheduled in July at the Dahmen Barn
"Fish On!" at the Dahmen
Barn in July. The monthly exhibit which runs from July 5
through the 28th, features pastels, watercolors, and oil paintings,
all of fish, plus steel sculptures, fishing rods, fishing nets. In
addition, several free demonstrations and hands-on workshops are
scheduled:
July 7 - Fly casting workshop and rod repair
demonstration. 11 am to 1 pm FREE
July 14 - Reception with artists present includes a book
signing and fly tying demonstration. 1 to 4 pm FREE
July 21 - Fly casting workshop 1 to 3 pm.

July 28 - Fly rod building and repair demonstration.
11 am to 3 pm. FREE
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit creativity
center in Uniontown on highway 195 in the big white barn surrounded by the
famous iron wheel fence. The three storey facility is fully handicap
