Social Media Class and Storytime at Colton Branch Library July 15, 2013

The final Storytime at Colton is Monday July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the park across the street from the library.  Librarian Holly Meyer will have games, a picnic, and goodie bags for all children who completed their reading goal.  Families are asked to bring some kind of finger food to share.

A Social Media for Beginners class will also take place at the Colton Library on July 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.  Andrea Hergert from the Colfax Library will be on hand to teach people the basics about Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter. 

 

Hergert will help people set up an account, teach them how to find and follow friends, set the appropriate privacy settings, and answer any questions.

 

This class is free of charge, thanks to funding from the Transforming Life Grant from the Institute for Museums and Library Services.
