The newspaper is waiting for the promised news from the South East Spokane County Fair Royalty Committee for the results of the recent 2013 contestant winners. Last year's royalty can be seen on SESC website and I assure you, as soon as our popular regional photographer, Richard Slover of Valleyford sends me, the photographs he took at this Royalty Progran held at the Grange last Sunday at Rockford, Washington, I'll publish them immediately.
Like the standing room only crowd, I enjoyed the special event immensely. However, the Programs available only provided the first names of the ten lovely young contestants, and since I'm not aquainted with them I'd rather wait for the official news, than to publish a mistake.
The entrants were:
Don Henderson was Master of Ceremonies and Kris Pttibone and Amanda Miller were the Royalty Committee. Contest sponsors were Bank of Fairfield and St. John Hardware of Fairfield, Washington. McIntosh Grange provided use of their facility and 20 contributors were recognized on the Program attendees received. Northwest Images and Shepherd Photos were also recognized for the portraits of the Royalty.
