A Container Gardening class
will be held at the Colton Library,760 Broadway Ave., Colton, on Monday, May 20 at 2 p.m. Donna Hansen
will show participants how beautiful flowers and vegetables can be grown in
even the smallest spaces by growing them in containers.
She will demonstrate how to match the right
plant to the right size of pot and where to place the pots to maximize growing
potential.
This class is free of charge
due to funding provided by the Institute of Museums and Library Services grant
titled Transforming Life after 50 which was recently awarded to Whitman County
Library.
