Pioneer Museum Opening for Summer Visitors at Rockford, Wash.



The next Rockford Museum and Historical Society meeting will be Friday, June 8 at 11:30 a.m., for no-host lunch, and meeting at 12:30, at the Harvest Moon Banquet Room.
"We will be setting a date to take a field trip to the Pomeroy museum during the summer.
"We want to give a big THANK YOU to our members, local organizations, and residents for their donations toward the roof replacement project that we are planning to undertake this summer.
"It is a very large and expensive undertaking for this organization to take, and without everyone's help it would not have been possible. The building was built in 1894 and the roof is approximately 60 years old and in dire need of replacement.
June 8th and 10th  will be the first week end the Pioneer Museum, 10 S. First Street, Rockford, Wash. will open during the 2012 visitor season.  It will be open each Friday  and Sunday, June 8 - September 1, 2012, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Historical Society members will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions.


"We encourage and welcome everyone to come and see our new displays and visit about the pioneers that settled this area."
