Individuals needed
You're invited to participate in the
Palouse Chamber of Commerce's "Unscramble the Palouse Slogan 2013"
contest.
We need individuals/artistic people to make the letters that
will be used in the contest.
If
you wish to participate, pick up one letter from Grammy G's Quilt Shop, 124 E.
Main Street, Palouse, WA, 509-878-1660.
You will transform
this 16"x20" letter into a piece of art. The letter needs
to remain recognizable. Please frame your letter if possible.
Letters must be finished by May 30, 2013, and turned in at Grammy G's Quilt
Shop. The letters will be on display from June 1, 2013, through Sept. 10,
2013, in various downtown businesses (fading may occur).
Palouse Day,
September 14, 2013, we will display the slogan (made from all the individual
art piece letters) at the Palouse Community Center. The slogan letters
will become the property of the Palouse Chamber and will be sold at the Fall
Craft Fair to raise money for the Palouse Chamber.
