Rockford, Washington Lions Club is Unique

The Rockford Lions Club, No. 007787, serves southeast Spokane County communities including Rockford, Valleyford, Fairfield, Mica and others. The club is one of the largest in Washington State and has more women members than most clubs in the country.

2011 Officers are President Steve Foley, Secretary Suzi Risken, Treasurer Carole Meyle , and Membership Chairman Sam Meyle (208) 686-0295.

Meetings are held at the Harvest Moon Restaurant banquet room on Main Street, Rockford, Wash., at
7:00 p.m. on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month.

Activities of the club include White Cane Days, Southeast Spokane County Fair, the Annual Frog Regatta, the Annual Fairfield Flag Day Parade, and a bonfire\wienee roast on Halloween, held in Rockford Town Park.
