Smithsonian Journey Stories Exhibit in St. John, Wash., to Close in Two Weeks


Be sure to visit the Smithsonian Journey Stories Exhibit in St. John now through Dec. 4. The Denton Building,1 East Front, houses the library and the exhibit.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 4, Wednesday from 10 to 6, and Sunday from 1 to 5.


The exhibit examines the stories of immigrants coming in search of promise in a new country, families relocating in search of fortune or their own homestead, and the harrowing journeys of Africans and Native Americans forced to move.

School and other group tours can be scheduled by calling the St. John Library at 509-648-3319.
