Colton Library will present a craft program on Thursday, April 5 for area teenagers. Chelsea Leachman, Teen Services Coordinator for Whitman County Library, will lead the program for ages 12-18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Colton Library. Kids can hang out together and make a duct tape wallet. The program is free, and a snack will be provided.
The penny pig is out at the library to raise money for children’s programs. If you have any spare change lying around that you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please drop by during open hours on Monday from 10 – 2:30 or Thursday from 12:30 – 6:30. The penny drive runs through April 14.
The Colton Library will have a wii party for the Third Thursday after school program on April 19 at 3:15 p.m. Kids in kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to join us and play popular wii games.
Storytimes continue on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. at the Colton Library for ages 1-6. The current theme is colors, and a different color is celebrated each week through crafts, stories and songs.
