No Chipper or Chipper Program at Palouse, Wash.

Now that the weather is warming up, people will probably be out working in yards.  Please keep in mind that the City of Palouse no longer has a chipper or chipper program.  That means no rose bushes, root balls, dirt, or woody material of any kind allowed.

We do have a compost pile which requires a permit to use.  Cost is $15.00 for a permit good through Dec. 31, 2012.  The only things acceptable at the compost site are leaves, grass, pine needles, and soft vegetation (flowers, vegetable garden stuff).

Please help keep the program running; report any abuse or non-permitted users.
