Teenagers ages 12 –18 are invited to spend the afternoon with Teen Librarian Chelsea Leachman on Monday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the Garfield Library. Enjoy snacks and extra computers while making duct tape wallets. All supplies are provided.
Librarian Christine sends a warm thank you, to the Garfield School for a successful penny drive. The combined elementary classes collected a grand total of $108.22. The combined kindergarten, first grade class won a cup cake and ice cream party for their donation of $67. Way to go kids!
The Garfield Library is open each Monday from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Kindergarten and preschool Storytime is each Monday at 12:30 p.m. WiFi access is available for public use.
