Spring Bead Craft at Colton Branch Library, March 15, 2012

       Now that spring is right around the corner, it is time to get out of the house and take a trip to your local library.  The Third Thursday program will be March 15 and is the Colton Library after-school program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

There will be a spring bead craft, as well as worksheets and a snack.

       The new storytime theme for March is colors at the Colton Library.  Kids will learn about a new color each week with a craft, color pages, songs and stories.  Storytime is held on Mondays at 10:30 a.m., and ages 1-5 are welcome.

        The Whitman County Penny Drive begins on March 26 and lasts through April 14.  Proceeds go toward funding the children’s programs in your community library.  Bring in your loose change and feed our pig.
