Here's What’s Happening at the Malden Library in March 2012

Malden Librarian, Shannon Roe, reminds you that supporting your library doesn’t have to be expensive.  The Whitman County Library (WCL) Penny Drive is March 26 through April 14, 2012. Pocket change adds up to help bolster children’s programming in Malden. Everything you put it our piggy will be used here.

Hey teens, the Malden Library, 208 S. Mooreland, has something special planned for you. If you are 12 to 18 come join teen Librarian Chelsea Leachman on March 26 at 4:00 p.m. for games, snacks, and a chance to create a duct tape wallet.

Do you need your GED? Do you need help brushing up on subjects like Math, English, and History? Come join the GED Preparatory class, which meets every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. – Noon. This class is sponsored by R.A.C.E. and is at no cost to the student. For more information please contact Kathy Wilkes at (509) 850-6492.

For questions about these or any other events please contact Librarian Shannon Roe at (509) 569-3771 or check out the Malden Library and Community Center Facebook page.
